Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

Atlanta North Dermatology is committed to providing high quality healthcare for all members of our community and beyond. The recent concern for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has created much cause for concern as it pertains to patient safety and limiting the spread of this illness. Please note we are taking reasonable precautions at the direction of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Georgia Department of Public Health to help ensure your health and wellbeing. At this time, patients and the general population should continue to educate themselves on this disease and utilize the preventative strategies outlined by the Department of Public Health. Unless symptomatic, patients are encouraged to attend regularly scheduled appointments to maintain care.

If you have traveled to China, South Korea, Iran, Italy, or Japan within the last 14 days or have had contact with a known or suspected Coronavirus patient, please call our office for advice or see the links below. If you have fever or respiratory illness, please call the office. The front will connect you with our phone nurse for further triage.

We are taking every precaution to protect our patients, staff and physicians from exposure to the Coronavirus. We are continuing to sanitize rooms and surfaces between patients. If you are sick with respiratory illness and fever, you will need to speak to the phone nurse. Patients will be asked to call the office upon arrival, to wear a mask, and meet a staff member outside the left side door of the building. Patient will be taken through our back door to designated exam room. If you do not have a mask, we will bring you one. Please limit the family members coming to the appointment to one parent/caregiver. Please follow all directions given to you by the phone nurse, front office to protect everyone.
