Jason Arnold, MD
Dr. Arnold grew up in Missouri, and attended the United States Air Force Academy for college, earning his B.S.as a Distinguished Graduate in 1996. He went on to attend and graduate from the Emory University School of Medicine in 2000. Following medical schools, Dr. Arnold served a family medicine residency at Eglin Air Force Base and subsequently completed a dermatology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. After finishing his dermatology residency, Dr. Arnold he was selected to stay on staff to teach at the base. During his time on staff, Dr. Arnold served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology for the F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine. He was active in multiple research projects, and was also the head of the laser and cosmetics clinic. Dr. Arnold was selected as the winner of the Nicole M. Owens Distinguished Dermatology Faculty Award in 2015.
During his fifteen years on active duty in the Air Force, Dr. Arnold has been stationed at several locations around the country and served on three overseas deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and Panama. He left the military in 2015 and was selected to a Mohs surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University which he completed in 2016. As a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, Dr. Arnold is a specialist in the treatment of skin cancers with an emphasis on cosmetic reconstruction. Dr. Arnold has authored numerous publications, and has given multiple regional and national presentations. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is on staff at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology as well as the American College of Mohs Surgeons. Dr. Arnold lives in Roswell with his wife and three children.
